Inconsistent UI where sometimes clicking once selects a thing and other times you need to double click (with no rhyme or reason to it, at most I can assume this is related to the pace of your clicks somehow).UI features like sideways cards, cards held in a 'hand' etc that obscure information and make it harder to play.Overall while you might enjoy playing this game I don't feel comfortable recommending it. The flaws in the UI and code make an otherwise enjoyable card game frustrating to iterate and probably only worth your time if you're a ccg fanatic fiending for some games without the time to hit up your FLGS.EDIT: As of 30/07/2018, online play works perhaps one game in ten.DO NOT PURCHASE.. I used to really enjoy the online version of this game. Saddly that is no longer true. While I would HIGHLY reccomend this game for the Campaign Mode, the Online Mode is another matter ENTIRELY!!!! Once you reach level 5, you must win a number of sucsessfull wins to advance onwords, but each loss counts you backwords on that total. THIS, is not a problem. THE PROBLEM, is that many players have found a way to "HACK" either the timeclock, or the game itself! I have found myself ready to acquire a good card, only to have my game freeze. Then reload. Not only do I lose precious time during this reloaded "Glitch". But often it will undo my card purchases or even worse, my bases will be destroyed or my health slashed in half. All of which being impossible with the card's the opponet had availible to play. Now, I KNOW I'm not the best player. I admit that freely. But after almost 500 games, I STILL CAN'T GET EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH TO LEVEL 7! This means With the losses counting against me, I have only managed to go up 1 LEVEL in almost 500 games!!!I have sent several emails to the developer company, yet have seen no correction of this problem. While I LOVE the actual game, the strategy is AMAZING, as are the card's ARTWORK. This feature caused me to stop playing this game for almost 2 years! During this time, the "Glitches" aperantly got worse, not better. I started playing again yesterday. And during this last match, I couldn't even buy single cards without struggling through "MULTIPLE" turns do to "Glitches". I don't know if this is a active bug in the game, or a hackable back door. But it WILL FRUSTRATE YOU, to know end. Unless you're willing to NEVER, play against others onlne. (The very point of most steam games). I would have to say this game is curently not worth it's price. I am sorry. But this is just true.. Having the pysical copy plus all its expansions and a bunch of promotion cards should show how much i enjoy this game.I played this before it came on steam and i can savely say it is Certainly worth your attention!Even playing against the AI (for which you dont have to pay) is already worth it!There is no loss in it for you. just try the game out and if ya do not enjoy the core experience you lost nothing but 10 minutes of your time~if you do enjoy it. my friend your gonna Love playing more of it.The expansions add a ton more Variation and stuff to the game. Events are triggers that activate once they appear. Base and battleships add as the name says. More bases and battleships! gambit Set is the odd one out as it has some very unique mechanics. Overall its so worth your time. now we just goto wait for the Colony wars set!cant wait to play this 2v2 :D. This review is based only on the demo, and I highly, highly recommend this game. I have everything for the physical version, and this is just as good, perhaps better. I like how you don't have to keep track of the trade and combat totals. Always a plus. Absolutely great soundtrack too!Now since I have the physical version and all expansions, I'm not sure if I want to buy everything for this version. I know it's much cheaper than all the physical expansions, but is it really worth it when you have everything already? I'm predominantly a solo gamer, and it's nice to face off against an AI whenever you want and do online multiplayer. Oh, **** it. Shut up and take my money!. Fair. I love the card game. The actual games is great. Multiple devices for one price awesome! It works on my pc,ipad2,asus zen. It will not run on my LG g3. Online play can be aggravating. You get disconnected from server and you are not alerted. your opponent quits a game and you are not alerted. You sit and wait for them to take a turn unaware the game is over due to a connection problem. This needs to be fixed before I can recommendthe game. I'm not a fan of the level system but it does not affect gameplay ;So I can live with it.
